Cove Centre offers everything from brief assessments that shape your therapy plan to comprehensive evaluations for diagnosis, accommodations, or specialized concerns like ADHD.

Assessment as Part of Therapy - Intake
This is a brief assessment completed as part of therapy to better understand the concerns that brought you to treatment, develop a treatment plan, and guide therapy. It is intended to support treatment rather than provide a comprehensive psychological assessment or formal report.

Comprehensive Psychological Assessment
These assessments are more in-depth and are designed to answer specific questions or provide a detailed understanding of your psychological functioning. They may be completed for purposes such as diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, disability or insurance applications, workplace or educational accommodations, or to help you better understand yourself. A comprehensive written report is provided.

Specialty Assessment
Some assessments require specialized training or expertise and focus on a specific referral question or condition (for example, ADHD, PTSD, or other specific diagnostic questions). If you are seeking an assessment for a particular condition or purpose, please let us know so we can determine whether we offer that service and, if so, match you with the most appropriate clinician.

Psychoeducational Assessment
These comprehensive assessments evaluate cognitive, academic, and learning functioning to better understand a student's learning profile and identify conditions such as learning disorders and, in some cases, ADHD. They are commonly completed to support educational planning, academic accommodations, and recommendations for learning supports. A comprehensive written report is provided.
Pricing
Intake assessments are completed as part of therapy and are typically conducted during the first 1–3 treatment sessions. Other psychological assessments generally require 3–20 hours, depending on the referral question, and are billed at a rate of $240 per hour.
We do our best to match you with a clinician whose expertise is a good fit for the type of assessment you are seeking. Providing as much detail as possible in your contact form about your concerns and the purpose of the assessment will help us connect you with the most appropriate clinician or, if needed, provide helpful alternative resources.
All new assessment clients begin with a complimentary 15-minute consultation call. During this call, the clinician will assess fit, discuss the scope of the assessment, answer any questions you may have, and provide an estimated number of assessment hours based on your referral needs.
