Dr. Sarah Ross-Lavoie

Registered Psychologist

Sarah Ross Lavoie (she/her) is a Registered Psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and parents. Originally from Québec and now practicing in British Columbia, she offers services in both French and English. Her integrative, trauma-informed approach draws from cognitive-behavioural therapy, psychodynamic principles, and mindfulness practices, and is tailored to each person’s unique strengths, needs, and lived experiences.

Sarah has extensive experience in school and hospital settings, supporting young people and families with concerns including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and trauma. In her work with children, she places a strong emphasis on developmental needs, emotional expression, and the essential role of caregivers, collaborating closely with parents to strengthen communication and build supportive strategies at home.

She is especially attuned to the challenges of adolescence, including identity development, academic pressure, social dynamics, and increasing independence. Sarah strives to create a warm, supportive space where young people feel understood and empowered, and she is committed to fostering resilience, confidence, and growth in everyone she works with.
