Dr. Kate Finnegan

Psychologist

Kate Finnegan (she/her) is a psychologist offering trauma-informed therapy for adults. She approaches her work with care and curiosity, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs, identities, and way of being. Drawing from a range of modalities, she integrates insight-oriented work with body-based approaches such as Somatic Experiencing and mindfulness practices. This mind–body approach supports clients in exploring meaning and relational patterns while gently working through stress and trauma at a pace that feels right for them.

Kate specializes in working with trauma and PTSD, identity development and self-esteem, as well as relational difficulties. She supports clients in deepening emotional awareness, making sense of lived experiences, and cultivating a more grounded and compassionate relationship with themselves.

Her practice is rooted in a deep respect for diverse identities and lived experiences. She is committed to creating a space that feels safe, collaborative, and affirming so that clients can show up as they are and feel supported in their healing.
