Dr. Louise Clark

Registered Psychologist

Dr. Clark (she/her) is a Registered Clinical Psychologist in British Columbia, based on Vancouver Island. She earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Waterloo and completed her post-doctoral clinical internship at Chedoke-McMaster Hospitals and the McMaster University Department of Psychiatry.

Dr. Clark has extensive experience working with youth, adults, and families across a wide range of settings, including private practice, hospitals, outpatient pediatric and psychiatric clinics, schools, employee assistance programs, first responders, veterans, youth justice, and remote communities throughout British Columbia. She currently offers exclusively remote assessment and treatment services to increase accessibility.


Her work is grounded in compassionate, strengths-based, evidence-informed care, with particular interests in anxiety, depression, trauma, Adult ADHD, and intergenerational mental health challenges. Dr. Clark also brings a strong background in teaching, supervision, and research, and has a special interest in culturally respectful and valid approaches to assessment and treatment. She is pleased to be serving clients as a member of the Cove Centre team.
